Café Fleuri Serves Up Burgers with a Twist
BOSTON - March 21, 2011 – Those seeking a power lunch with substance are sure to enjoy Boston's most innovative burger menu slated to launch Monday, March 21 at The Langham, Boston's Café Fleuri.
The new menu features five innovative burgers, all varied and showcasing local accoutrements like Maple Meadow Farm eggs, peppered bacon from New Hampshire’s North Country Smokehouse, and Massachusetts’ own Great Hill Blue Cheese.
The aptly named Farmstead burger features Northeast Family Farms beef, Vermont goat cheese, Backyard Farm tomatoes, house-made pickle chips, flash fried onions, and shredded lettuce in buttermilk ranch dressing. While the Nor’easter tops an eight ounce burger with warm lobster meat, Kate’s Homemade Butter, tarragon, tomatoes, butter lettuce, and natural sea salt from Maine Sea Salt Company.
“New England’s family operated farms and locally sourced products offer a sophisticated array of ingredients,” explains Executive Chef Mark Sapienza. “The entire menu was created utilizing locally raised meats, seafood, dairy, and produce. We’ve even incorporated locally made soda!”
