The Statement martini at BOND could leave you with more than a hangover
BOSTON- April 6, 2010 – Beginning in April, when you order The Statement martini at BOND restaurant and lounge, you could soon be making a statement that rocks with a pair of diamond earrings from Shreve, Crump & Low.
BOND teamed up with Shreve, Crump & Low to help you make your own statement this summer. The Statement, created by BOND’s team of mixologists, is made from Ketel One Vodka, Watermelon Liqueur, and Orange Juice. In addition to it being the perfect summer martini, each person that enjoys The Statement will also receive a ‘diamond’. Simply bring this ‘diamond’ to the Shreve, Crump & Low store at the corner of Boylston Street and Berkeley Street, to see if yours is the real thing. One lucky person will soon be making a statement with a pair of martini-set diamond earrings, valued at $7,500.
The Statement is just one of the new cocktails on the spring and summer menus in BOND restaurant and lounge. BOND changes the cocktail menu seasonally to include the freshest flavors and ingredients and the majority of cocktails are $14 each. Other martinis include The Equity (Oxley Gin, Vanilla Simple Syrup, Grapefruit Juice, and Caramelized Grapefruit) and The Getaway (Belvedere, Navan, Chambord and Pineapple Juice). Cocktails on this season’s menu are named after bank robbers and include the Baby Face Nelson (Cold River Blueberry, St. Germain, Lemonade, and Soda Water) and the John Dillinger (Patron Silver, Simple Syrup, Mint Leaves, Lemon Wedges, and Lemon Lime Soda).
