The Langham, Boston introduces the fall and winter menus with 10 innovative meeting breaks

BOSTON- September 15, 2009 – Meeting attendees are looking for more than cookies and coffee during their morning or afternoon breaks. Executive Chef, Mark Sapienza, designed the fall and winter banquet menus at The Langham, Boston and added 10 innovative meeting breaks that attendees will remember.

Traditional Langham Tea – Afternoon Tea is a Langham tradition dating back to our flagship hotel which opened in 1865 in London. The Langham Tea break includes Tea Sandwiches with Smoked Salmon and Lemon Cream, Cucumber and Watercress, and Smoky Ham Salad with Cornichons, a Selection of Fine Imported Teas, Plain and Cranberry Scones, Miniature Pastries and Pound Cakes with Devonshire Cream, and Raspberry Preserves. This break is $20 per person.

At the Game – Enjoy a baseball break in the city of one of America’s favorite ballparks. Snack on Warm Soft Pretzels with Mustard, Steamed Ballpark Franks, Roasted Peanuts, Cracker Jacks, Popcorn and Baby Ruth Bars. This break is $16 per person.

The Chocoholic – The Langham, Boston is known for the famous Chocolate Bar and this indulging break features some of the pastry team’s creations including Chocolate Dipped Biscotti, Fudge Brownies, Double Chocolate Cookies, Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, Chilled Regular and Chocolate Milk. This break is $17 per person.

The New Englander – If your meeting attendees don’t have time to explore New England, let us bring it to them. This break includes Chilled Fresh Raspberry Lemonade, Blueberry Crumble Tartlets, New England Cheeses, with Water Crackers, Seasonal Whole Fruit and Salt Water Taffy. This break is $15 per person.

BOND Break – BOND restaurant and lounge is The Langham, Boston’s newest hotspot. Attendees can snack on BOND’s famous Fresh Potato Chips with Smoked Sea Salt and Roasted Shallot Dip, Mediterranean Olives, Sheep’s Milk Feta and Marcona Almonds, Vietnamese Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce, and Chocolate Cache, a Selection of Globally Inspired Chocolate Bites. This break is $20 per person.

In additional to the five breaks above, additional breaks include: Power Break, At the Movies, Ice Cream Parlor, Donut Shop and Chocolate Fountain.
