The Legendary Langham Brunch Returns to Cafe Fleuri
A culinary feast including made-to-order omelets, breakfast burritos, waffles, and pancakes

BOSTON- September 15, 2009 – After spending the summer brunching outside on the BOND Terrace, fall returns along with the lavish buffet brunch in Café Fleuri. Chef Mark Sapienza and the culinary team have revamped the Sunday Brunch to include new breakfast and brunch menu items and adjusted the price to please the wallet.

Stations throughout the sunlit Café will feature seafood, salads, breakfast items, a kid’s corner, desserts, and made-to-order breakfast burritos, omelets, pancakes and waffles. Live music will also accompany brunch each week.

The new Sunday Brunch features a variety of buffet items including:
Salads Fresh Made Mozzarella, Ripe Tomato, Basil, Sea Salt, and Olive Oil; Bliss Potato Salad with Dijon Chive Dressing; Roasted Beets, Goat Cheese, and Toasted Almond Bread

Seafood – Chilled Shrimp; House Smoked Atlantic Salmon; Calamari Salad; Jonah Crab Claws

Continental Breakfast – Mixed Berries, Vanilla Yogurt, and Granola; Croissants and Danish Pastries; Honey Strawberry Banana Smoothie; Pecan Sweet Rolls

Breakfast – Eggs Benedict; Sugar Dusted Cheese Blintzes with Blueberry Compote; Cinnamon Brioche French Toast; Home Style Potatoes with Green Onions; Hickory Bacon
Entrees – Chicken and Mushroom Fricassee; Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon; Baked Macaroni and New England Cheese Gratin; Mixed Grains, Wild Rice, and Vegetable Pilaf

Culinary Stations – Omelets and Breakfast Burritos To Order; Buttermilk Pancakes and Waffles To Order; Carving Station with Roasted Sirloin of Beef and Maple Glazed Ham; Salad Station with Caesar and New England Cobb Salad

Kid’s Corner – Mini Beef Hot Dogs; Country Fried Chicken Nuggets; Macaroni and Cheese Bites; Fruit Kebobs on a Pineapple Tree; Penny Candy
Pastry Table – An assortment of pastries from the famous Chocolate Bar; Crepe Station

Chef Mark Sapienza has been overseeing The Langham’s award-winning Sunday Brunch for over a decade. “This year we are taking a back-to-the-basics approach using seasonal and local ingredients in our traditional menu items. I am placing an emphasis on classic breakfast dishes such as waffles with warm maple syrup, caramel bananas, and blueberries and brunch fare with New England ingredients like Farfalle Pasta with Butternut Squash and Vermont Gorgonzola.”

The indulging buffet is available on more than just Sundays. Leave the holiday cooking to the Langham chefs and make advance reservations for Thanksgiving Day Brunch on November 26; Pre-Christmas Brunch on November 29, December 6, December 13, and December 20; Christmas Day Brunch on December, 25; and New Year’s Day Rejuvenation Brunch on January 1.

Sunday Brunch reservations are available at 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The cost for Sunday Brunch is $48 for adults and $25 for children ages 5 to 12. Holiday brunch prices will vary. For questions and reservations, please call 617.451.1900, extension 7125.
